We are accepting new patients and all sessions are virtual. Tyra is only able to provide services to those who reside in Maryland, Virginia & Florida. (Florida Telehealth Information: http://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth)
Marsenia is only able to provide services to those who reside in Maryland.

Tyra's Hours
Tuesdays:  2pm -8pm
Wednesdays: 2pm - 8pm
Thursdays:  10am - 8pm
Fridays:  9am - 3pm
Saturdays: 9am - 1pm

Sunday: 10am - 3pm

RATES + INSURANCE
The Therapy Nook is In-Network with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna & United Healthcare Insurance only.  We accept CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, Visa, American Express and Mastercard, for copays and for out of pocket fee's.  Also, please note that insurance is accepted for individual counseling only. Insurance is not accepted for couples therapy, premarital counseling or family therapy (please see FAQs for more details). If I am out-of-network with your insurance, you will need to pay the entire session fee out of pocket. I can then provide you a superbill showing what you paid so that you can submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement (provided you have out-of-network benefits).

Individuals (60min/90 min)   $130/$180

Premarital Assessment            $75
Family (60min/90min)              $175/$225

Marsenia

Individuals (60min/90min)     $100/$125
Couples (60min/90min)          $125/$150

Premarital Counseling Package: $1200 (You still have the option to pay per session or use this package to pay in one lump sum. This packages saves you $115).

The package includes:

  • ​Eight 60-minute Sessions

  • Online Couple Assessment

  • Couple Report

  • 2 Workbooks

CANCELLATION POLICY
It's understandable that things come up which require you to cancel a session. However, to ensure that all clients have an opportunity to be seen at the practice, we require 24-hour advance notice of cancellations or reschedules. Failure to provide at least 24-hour notice for your scheduled appointment without cancellation or rescheduling will result in you paying a $75 late cancellation fee for your session. If you miss you session without notification/no-show, you will be charged the full session fee.
